Summary

Key Responsibilities

1. Identify and Win New Business Opportunities

  • Proactively research, prospect, and engage potential clients and partners.

  • Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline across digital, tech, and marketing industries.

2. Develop and Execute Growth Strategies

  • Design business development plans aligned with Maverick Partners’ growth objectives.

  • Set measurable goals, define KPIs, and track performance against targets.

3. Lead Consultative Partnership & BD Conversations

  • Conduct discovery sessions to understand client and partner needs.

  • Create proposals, lead negotiations, and secure agreements that deliver mutual value.

4. Build and Strengthen Long-Term Relationships

  • Act as a trusted advisor for new and existing clients/partners.

  • Drive engagement, collaboration, and new opportunities within each relationship.

5. Track, Analyse & Report Performance

  • Monitor business development metrics, pipeline health, and partnership success.

  • Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

6. Collaborate Across Teams

  • Partner with strategy, delivery, and marketing teams to ensure smooth onboarding and consistent delivery.

  • Share market insights to support new service development and positioning.

7. Represent Maverick Partners Externally

  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to uncover new opportunities.

  • Stay informed on emerging digital trends and competitive developments.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development, partnerships, or account growth—ideally within a digital agency, consultancy, or technology environment.

  • Strong track record of hitting business development or growth targets.

  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.

  • Analytical mindset with experience using CRM and reporting tools.


Desirable Skills

  • Experience in digital marketing, social media, or content-driven services.

  • Existing network within the digital or technology sectors.

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Architect to join our delivery team to work on an exciting client project. You’ll be comfortable collaborating with our team, developing product features and roadmap ideas and working closely with client stakeholders, 3rd party partners as well as the internal delivery team.

This is a hands-on Technical Architect role to support the design and scoping of various client products. Working closely with the client and 3rd party partners, you will inform the architectural choices that will be applied throughout the business to deliver value for our client. You will work alongside the Product & Creative teams, to shape the solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities of the role

  • Rapidly understand the existing technical architecture

  • Understanding of latest responsive and accessibility technologies using the React framework, with mobile first delivery
  • Ability to design Frontend API interfaces for Backend delivery
